Core 1 - Comprehensive Welding
Combines Level 1 + Level 2 into a single seamless training program. Cost-effective package.

Level 1 - Industrial Welding
Covers SMAW and FCAW on mild steel. Focus on flat, horizontal, and vertical welding.

Level 2 - Welding Skill Builder
For welders with existing skills. Focus on SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and oxy/acetylene.

Level 3 – Pipe Welding
Advanced pipe welding course for experienced welders. Covers joint prep, open root welding, and 6G pipe welding on steel pipe.

SPEC 1 - TIG Welding
The GTAW (Tig) course offers a two week course to learn steel and stainless steel welding. The four week course includes two weeks of aluminum welding.

Hobby Welding
You’ll learn the basics of wire feed welding while exploring what welding is all about.

What are the Enrollment requirements?
Students enrolling in the Welding Training Course(s) must be 17 year of age prior to starting training. Students without a high school diploma or General Educational Development certificate may be required to pass the Ability to Benefit Exam prior to enrolling in the Welding Training Courses. Students must have good eyesight, with or without corrective lenses.
What certification testing does Anvil Welding Instruction offer?
Anvil offers testing for the most common industry processes:
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding, (SMAW) “Stick”
- Flux Core Arc Welding, (FCAW), “Dual Shield or Inner Shield”
- Gas Metal Arc Welding, (GMAW) “MIG”
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, (GTAW) “TIG”
What type of certifications are there, and where are they recognized?
ANVIL WELDING INSTRUCTION offers testing for AWS, ASME, and WABO. The AWS and ASME testing is nationally recognized, and WABO is for Washington state only.
