TIG (GTAW) Welding Training

Take your skills to the next level

Learn from our certified TIG experts who have performed aerospace and production TIG welding – and have years of experience in welding aircraft engine mounts, jet engine components, enclosures, and more!

If you are a detail oriented person interested in precision welding- then our TIG (GTAW) welding courses are for you. Become one of the most sought after welders in the industry.

The Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process (GTAW), which is also known as the Tungsten Inert Gas process (TIG), allows you to make high quality welds on thin material. Stainless steel and aluminum are the most common applications, but you can also weld steel, chrome-moly, titanium, inconel and other base metals.

We will show you how to match the correct tungsten and filler material to the base metal, as well as the correct procedures and techniques in using the foot control and torch. There will be plenty of hands-on practical bench work for aluminum, steel, and stainless steel welding.

GTAW (Tig) Courses

The GTAW (Tig) course offers a 2-week course to learn steel and stainless steel welding. The four week course includes two weeks of aluminum welding. Testing is available, but is not included in the course.

2-4 weeks (64-128 hours)
